Re: how do you do an abdominal massage during an enema?
Once you have 2
quarts ( does that correspond to two litres?) inside you you can start gently brushing the skin of your belly anti-clockwise, lying on your back with your knees raised. This will "distribute" the liquid throughout the whole of the colon (traverse and ascending as well ).
Then start to massage quite deeply, in a small circular motion, pressing deeply, but NEVER EVER painfully, starting at the lower left hand side. Move around your belly anti-clockwise, following the colon upwards, across and down on the right hand side. You will be hearing the liquid sloshing around inside you !!!
If you do this clock-wise it will lead to an urge to evacuate, so careful !
This also works lying on your right hand side.
You can also do this massage ( the brushing and then the deeper massage ) to aid constipation ( without doing an enema ) - clock-wise. It should NEVER be unpleasant of painful though .
Hope this helps.
