Re: Eggs seem fairly OK

Breastfeeding I agree with, i fact I think anything other that that is crazy. This is the main theme of http://www.processedpeople.com
- but the line up of doctors there would strongly disagree with the Weston Price foundation on dairy. With regard to well formed children, what about what goes on inside? In the China Study, T Colin Campbell observed that Western teenage girls reached puberty younger than asian ones because of their different diet, but this led to greater exposure to estrogen and cancers later in life.

Don't know much about eggs but I would say the best ones are where the chickens can forage for their own food, with no Antibiotics etc.

One of the main problems with meat seems to be factory farming, a reference to this can be found here http://www.healthyat100.org/display.asp?catid=0,3&pageid=11

For me, for now, I'll stick with the general guidelines of no meat, fish, fowl, dairy, oil or Sugar that these doctors recommend, that is also what the True North Water Fasting Clinic also recommends (I have done some Water Fasting before).

But I do eat fish for example, ones that I catch myself or ones that friends have caught, and things like scallops if I find some. I may eat eggs now too. What would be nice is finding a supplier of grass fed beef, but I am sure that meat would cost a fortune, because (if the link above is accurate), it means the animal will have to be looked after for eight years rather than two. So I'll probably stick to the odd fish.
