 Its also very important to supplement vitamin B12 as well. You need stomach acid to break down foods to release vitamin B12. So if you are low on stomach acid you are most likely deficient in B12.

Yes, this is a common reason for B12 deficiencies, which is why there are sublinguals for people with low stomach acid or lack of intrinsic factor.

B12, folate, B6 and zinc are all required for stomach acid formation, and all require sufficient stomach acid to be absorbed.
