Re: I Need Help With Angular Cheilitis

I guess two months have passed since my last visit here.
I was on holiday and working :)

My progress with AC wasn't great whatsoever.
I am still fighting with the pink corner of the lips.

A few days ago I had a appointment from a skin specialist.
I told him my long story that there aren't any outbreaks or cracks but just a pink corner.

He told me that the AC was gone for now but the red corners were a sign of a seperate infection and prescribed some pills and some cream - 30G HYDROCORTISONE 2%

I've took all the pills and applying the cream. It seems that it's a bit better but not much.
Don't remember the pills label but I think it was some kinda anti bacterial pills.
I was told that this is a long long fight agaist the red corners of the mouth so I hope I don't lose my faith..

At first when I applyed the cream the mouth corners got warm(kinda) but not anymore after a week or so.
I think the cream is working a bit but very, very slowly.
(I also think it will be a very long battle between me and this sily redness.)

I think I'll meet the doctor again and see what he can do.
(Here in Newzealand it's crazy so it takes a month or so to meet a great specialist.)

Now after my holiday, I've been suntanning a lot for a week so I'm getting really darker skin.
So the pink corners are less noticable.(which is good:)

I'll post my progress after some time again!

ps: Let me know anyone who has some similar symptoms or if anyone cured the red corners :)
