Stopped Up.....

Every year, about this time of year, my head gets all stopped up.....and depending on a lot of things, it may turn into a head cold, runny nose, etc.

Anges, a great contributor on CZ, has a post somewhere (I can't find it) where she says a having a cold is not a bad thing. She also said fever was your body fighting off infection and let fever run its course, too. It's your body kicking in your immune system. I agree with that, too.

So, the other day I was reading an article from a Mom, who is a pharmacist, writing about how glad she was when her 7 year old daughter developed a sore throat. This little girl has cancer and has had no immune system for several years now. Having gone through chemo and having no immune system and having been off chemo and is now developing an immune system meant her body was beginning to fight off stuff. Please do not debate me on this.....I am merely giving this as what got me to thinking.......

Do people, like me, who know when the weather is going to change have healthier immune systems than someone else whose body remains silent.....

If you ever have time on your hands, use the CZ google search and google Agnes and Lillian.....read as many posts as you can from them. They each had their own forum and have some of the best teachings here on CZ. John Cullison is another good one, too.
