Herb.doc liver cleanse bad reaction

Can anyone help? My husband did this liver cleanse to try to help with lipomas. He never had any problems with his colon. He used to go after every meal. This is the first time doing a cleanse, and he now has constipation, loud bowel sounds, stinky gas. He is not happy! I am getting worried. Not happy with Dr. Schulze 's cleanse. He was diligent and followed it properly. Thank you!
