There is something other than what you've experienced in life. Sorry for the things that have happened to you which have resulted in your outlook. Yes, there is a lot of evil on this planet and unfortunately, we all have to deal with it from time to time but in the end, I've gotten stronger because of it. But thank God there is a lot of good too. Life is give and take, help and be helped, receive a blessing and be a blessing.

It's written to forgive those who have hurt you and then ask for forgiveness of those you hurt. It's a new mentality which leads to a new outlook.

Yes, I believe in what the Bible says and thanks to Him I am not afraid to die at whatever time He has appointed to me but, I strive to be as healthy as possible until that time. And why am I no longer afraid to die? I've come to learn and believe that there is a heaven and hell and I know where I'll spend eternity. There are "two" other sides and one of them is eternal suffering. The life born to us on this earth is a very short span of time compared to eternity.

We all get to make a choice -- to live as God instructed or live as we want to. People who don't want to part with what they know is wrong usually don't have too much to do with God.

The people and things you describe in your post... we should strive to make certain that we are not one of them. That we choose to be a light in the world, not part of the darkness.
