Karen --- I was just going to let this go but I have to say something. First of all, I agree with you that there are people who willingly enable narcissists. However, to assume that people who have been duped by one are either narcissists themselves or enablers, is just flat out wrong. If you go through this forum, you will find many stories of people who were duped by a narcissist and got sucked in only to later realize what was going on. Most of these people, once they found out, left the situation. Some people are just very trusting, good hearted or gullible. And, yes, narcissists often target them.
