Answers to give when you are met with negative uneducated responses to your natural healing.

The first thing people do when I talk about being vegan or eating any particular HEALTHY-RAW food is say something bad about it!!! Like: "avocados are so fattening", "I could never be vegan-i'd die without my protein"... this is getting me worked up so im going to stop ; )

This got me thinking about the many times I have encountered people who have narrow-minded and uneducated thinking. They are quick to give their negative opinion of anything natural or wholesome, often because they have bought into the marketing of the medical community and BIG PHARMA, the fast food and processed foods and this has become their lifestyle. It is easier to close their minds to the damage they are doing every day to their health and their family's health.
They are unlikely to listen to enough or read enough of natural healing to change their minds, but if we could just 'plant a seed'.
Just maybe they would find that the next time they read or hear something about the danger of let's say... cholesterol in animal foods or the benefits of protein found in plant foods they would not totally discredit it.
I have a friend with adult children. Many times when she attempts to share something she has read or learned about a natural or healthier choice, they will say, OK mom.. whatever. Then a month or two later, they will be all over it, but rarely remember that it was mom who first made them aware. It does not matter, what matters is she planted a seed (thought), the seed took and grew. Their mind opened and they 'heard'.
My idea is to ask you to post the negative responses you encounter when sharing what you are doing such as vegan and raw food eating, juicing, cleansing, etc. Then a short response that could plant a seed... If you don't have a response I know someone here will jump in with one!
How could we use this list? If you are good at retaining things, you could keep them at the ready and use them when opportunity presents itself. For me I think I will need to type them out and print an informational newsletter titled something along the lines of: "Some Things I Am Doing For My Health and Why". I could keep copies with me and when I am subjected to, "I could never eat a vegan diet, I'd die without my protein", I could just hand them a copy... plant a seed.
I will start:
I tell a friend I am eating a raw food vegan diet. Their response, "I could never eat a vegan diet, I'd die without my protein"!
I hand them a newsletter where I have included plant sources of protein such as Superfood.
Here is some information on Superfood ingredients and nutritents:

Spirulina Blue Green Algae
Spirulina is one of the most concentrated, nutritious foods on this planet. It is the highest natural source of complete protein (75%). We use the only organically grown Spirulina in the world, from Hawaii. The high amount of sunshine there makes this Spirulina higher in Beta Carotene than any other. It is also a rich source of B-Vitamins, especially B-12. Grown using water pumped from 2000 feet deep in the ocean, this Spirulina is one of the richest sources of minerals also. Being one of the oldest types of algae, it has a soft cell wall for easy digestion and assimilation.
Chlorella
Chlorella is second only to Spirulina in nutritional content. Another of the algae, it is an extremely concentrated source of nutrition and compliments Spirulina well. The cell wall has been cracked to make the nutrients more available and increase its digestibility. Alfalfa, Barley and Wheat Grasses These are the Vitamin / Mineral herbs. They are mildly cleansing and the greatest sources of nutrition of any grasses. Grain grasses are more potent than the grains themselves, offering us a rich array of vitamins, minerals and chlorophyll.
Purple Dulse Seaweed
Seaweeds are the richest source of assimilable minerals on the planet. They contain all the minerals and trace minerals that are found In the oceans and the earth's crust. We chose Purple Dulse because it has the highest mineral concentration, but also tastes bland. Many seaweeds taste fishy and can be offensive to vegetarians.
Alfalfa, Barley and Wheat Grasses
These are the Vitamin / Mineral herbs. They are mildly cleansing and the greatest sources of nutrition and minerals of any of the grasses. Grain grasses are more potent than the grains themselves, offering us a rich array of vitamins, minerals and chlorophyll.
Beet Root and Spinach Leaf
Beets and Spinach are some of the richest, most assimilable sources of organic iron. Beets, being a root vegetable and growing underground, change inorganic raw elements into plant minerals that are useable by us. Spinach is a rich source of Calcium, Iron and Vitamin K. Both of these plants are famous for their blood building ability.
Rose Hips, Orange and Lemon Peels
Revered as the best sources of Vitamin C, these fruits are also a balanced C-Complex source. They contain Bioflavinoids, Rutin, Hesperidin, Calcium and all of the trace elements that are now known to be necessary to assimilate Vitamin C. The citrus peels are also one of the highest sources of Pectin, which has been proven to remove heavy metals (Mercury, Lead, etc.) from the body, even remove radioactive contamination like Strontium 90.
Non-Active Saccharomyces cerevisiae Nutritional Yeast
This yeast is grown on beets and pure molasses. It is the second highest source of complete protein in nature (50%), and the richest source of B Vitamins. It is also a rich source or Iron and many other minerals. The yeast we choose is heated high enough to absolutely destroy any yeast activity, but not high enough to lessen the B Vitamin content. It is totally NON active and safe for patients with Candida Albicans or on yeast free diets.

I hope to gather enough ideas to put together a nice informational newsletter and to help readers and posters here with answers to negative reactions received from family, coworkers and friends when we 'tell' them what we are doing or attempt to 'explain' why we are taking a tincture or cleansing.
So... anyone have a contribution or who needs a response or way to share their natural healing with those that think and live in a world of medicine, BIG PHARMA, toxic processed and dead food.
Let's plant some seeds!
