A warning about acv preparation for the flush (edited)
Hi fellow flushers,
If you use apple cider vinegar to prepare for the liver flush, be aware that it could cause problems if you drink it too quickly.
Recently, I`ve gotten into the habit of preparing by gradually increasing the ratio of acv to water over the course of 6 days. Day 1: 1 tbsp acv into a 500 ml bottle of water. I increased the acv every day, reaching 4 tbsp acv in each of 2 bottles of water by Day 6. I often add a tbsp or 2 of black cherry concentrate, as it helps with the flavour and it also contains malic acid. I`ve never had problems with this method because I`d put it in a water bottle and sip it during the day. However, during my last prep period, I gulped a large glass (containing 4 tbsp acv) in about 1 minute. Shortly after that, I developed foul breath and stomach cramps, and a few hours later, I vomited forcefully. This was repeated a few more times that evening. I felt ill for 4 days after, and had to abandon that
Liver Flush until I recovered.
Another person who does
Liver Flushes had the same experience. She also found that when she went ahead and tried to finish the prep to do the flush, she vomited again, but this time producing what looked like stomach lining tissue.
If you are going to use acv - and it`s a good idea, it works, it`s cheap, low calorie, and you can get good quality organic acv with the mother - just be sure you sip it slowly during the day.
