I am quite astounded by the number of persons who rush into taking more Miracle-Mineral-Supplement than they should in search of faster healing. I haven't started taking it, yet, but if I've learned anything it's that you have to allow yourself time to adjust to it or you will get sick. Or sicker, rather.

BTW, I also have HSV. I have been taking L-Lysine in tablet form for almost 3 months. In fact, I started taking one (500mg) tablet daily just a week before my usual outbreak time (during my menses) and I have not had an outbreak since. I took Red Marine Algae for years before that and it never stopped the blisters outright. The lysine did.

As for my diet, I do not eat processed foods, sodas, etc., but I eat almost anything else. I love meat and fish, vegetables, starchy foods and kefir. I love bread, too, and make my own with unbleached white flour and wheat flour (organic when I can afford it).

I have struggled with bacterial vaginosis, which is what led me to kefir and other probiotics. I am probably wrong but I do not intend to change my diet any further because of it. I will look for other alternative medicines if necessary, but if I'm going to live a life rid of the foods that I love after totally overhauling my diet 4+ years ago, I may as well not be living at all.

I would try the lysine instead of just depending on foods because foods go through so much processing that there's no guarantee you're getting much lysine from eating those foods. I am sure you will still gain many benefits from Miracle-Mineral-Supplement as I hope to do.
