BV: I'm cured!

I have been suffering with bv for the last 2 years non stop. I am a teacher, and my students even talk about me behind my back. It is so embarrasing. Before the last 2 years, I would have it only periodically. Mainly when I have sex with my ex boyfriend, even with a condom. I've had bv on and off since 2000. I have read many cures on many websites and I have take metro gel and pills which are nasty and only work temporarily. I found this cure reading through many posts online. I tried the yogurt tampon with acidophilus crap. That worked only for a few days and the fishy smell returned. My doctor is an idiot, I can't stand her, she insitst on and keeps giving me the metro pills month after month or cl...something suppositories. At my last visit, she mentioned my pH balance being off. She said she was going to suscribe me a boric acid suppository along with the metro poison pill. She couldn't find a pharmacy that had it. I let that go until I read that someone had douched with diluted contact lens solution because it contains boric acid. I thought that was really weird. I also read that people had tried a vitamin cocktail of sorts. This is what I did...I did a diluted contact lens solution douche. Half water half contact lens solution. I began a vitamin regiman every day. 1 vitamin C pill 1000mg, 2 folic acid 800 mg each, a multi vitamin, and an odorless garlic capsule daily. I also take a B6 vitamin every other day(mostly out of fear of overdose). Now I have the acidic pH I should have and I'm keeping it that way. Right after my last period was over, (I could have been paranoid) I smelled a slight fishy smell ( I check daily)it was a very faint smell. Still I took no chances and I did another diluted contact lens solution douche and continued my vitamins. These vitamins are water soluable so are not harmful. I smell so good. I used to be embarrassed to have sex with my boyfriend, but now I am not. He hasn't smelled anything and I always wash immediately after sex just in case. This had been the only thing that has worked for me for this long. I am so happy not to have this worry. I know this is an unorthodoxed cure and I'm not sure about the safety of that douche, but I didn't use a lot and It was half water. Hopefully I won't have to douche after my next period, but I will continue the vitamins indefinitely. Thank you to all those who post their cures, you have really saved me from ridicule and embarrasment. This is a serious problem and Doctors need to get a clue.
