Incisional Hernia

I had surgery in March and assumed all was well and started to do the things I did before because I was feeling strong. However,recently, I noticed a bulge in my abdomen and was later told by a doctor that it is an incisional hernia. I do not want to have surgery again and would like to know of any alternate treatments for hernia. The doctor said it resulted because of abdominal weakness due to the surgery.
