Acidic Vs Alkaline - my Candida experience
I know this debate is going on.
I have a systemic candidiasis and i would like to give you my experience from PH point of view.
A lab performed a PH test on my stool, it appeared to be too acidic. (PH 6.0)
It was solid stool no diarrheas. Interestingly enough i didnt eat any acidic food 24 hours before extracting the sample.
When i drink something that is very acidic it creates bowel movement 45 minutes after drinking it. I drunk coffee, tea and orange juice by the past but i stopped it because it would irritate my bowel, i would go to the loo more often and have diarrheas. I did it is for long and i didnt have any improvement by drinking orange juice, tea and coffee. (witnessed after 1 year) And it is really nothing when i say nothing. Sometimes leaky gut was associated to diarheas while taking coffee, tea or orange juice.
I forgot to say... by the past it took me 3 times the normal times to recover from a seasonal caugh even if i would take huge number of green tea and echinacea.
I was low blood pressure and always cold.
On the other hand, Baking soda (very alkaline) slows down my bowel movement and stabilized the number of times i had to go to the loo.
On my side, i think acidic is bad and alkaline is good.
