strips ..50 strips for $9.00....
it would be nice if Cole-Parmer did not insist on
sending tiny packs via FEDEX..[another $8.00...kacHIng!$$

mixed up a batch of 7 activated drops of Miracle-Mineral-Supplement to half a gallon of tap water..

ran it thru the BrITA filter...dipped a strip...zero ppm.

tested a strip vs a small [but strong] test solution..
strip goes purple..
ok..the strips are working..but the Clo2 in the filter catch tank sure vanished..

...add another 3 drops of active Miracle-Mineral-Supplement ..total mix...of 10
drops per half gallon...filter...dip strip...zero ppm.

ok..the cartridge filter dont do squat for stopping
sub 300 micron critters and bits..but it brickwalls the
chlorine..apparently.

*ok..new flight plan..filter first..THEN add Miracle-Mineral-Supplement ..

the charcoal filters are far more effective at stripping
out chlorine than I thought.

current batch of "7drops/half gallon" was reading
about 3ppm...after 3 hours.

...the strips are a very useful device for ensuring that
I am getting the "anti bug" protection in my water that
I THINK I am getting.
