Re: Diagnostic Measures

Well, since the marathon, I have like thickness in the bottoms of my lungs. When I breathe in deep, I wheeze. This is directly related to my coldness issues: When I breathe in deep, I get cold and I get goose pimples on my arms.
Before I found that running was causing me to go into hypo-thermic range, I ran 9.4-mile tempo runs and around mile 7, the asthma would get worse and I would feel compelled to hyper-ventillate (breathe in deep and hold it there to try to force the congestion away.)
I have not had "asthma attacks", as such, probably because I quit all my exercising.
Primateen Mist did nothing. I also tried Respiryn Extract (Qing Qi Da Bu Wan), a Chinese remedy, but it did nothing, as well. I tried Niacin, but it felt to me like the mega-doses of vitamins was making me toxic. I felt no respiratory relief from the Niacin.
If my adrenals are in bad shape, which I I imagine they still are, then I probably will not be able to address the asthma directly. I'll have to go by route of the adrenals. I am about to try Phytocort for the asthma, because they say it actually increases Cortisol.
I'm glad it isn't worse than it is.

Paul
