Re: Dry fasting - how long can I go for?
I haven't done any research on dry fasting, and didn't know the term until I looked it up.
I do find that I tend to dry fast during the first couple days of my water fast, when I do fast. It isn't something that I plan, it just happens, as I listen to my body. I think with dry fasting, it is all about listening to your body. When I am dry fasting early on during my water fast, I listen to my body. I usually doesn't last more then 3 days at the most, but then again farther on in my water fast, I might dry fast a bit.
As I said before, I really listen to my body and follow it. It lets me know when I am not thirsty and when I am. I don't try to force it. It is fasting itself, either water fasting, dry fasting or even juice fasting, is all about reseting, refreshing and re-newing your body as well as learning how to listen to your bodies needs, such as consuming enough water, and once re-feeding, providing your body healthy, and nutrient filled foods.
I feel that more a person is in touch with his or her body, the more healthy they are, because they know that it needs to function at its highest, healthy level.
I hope this helps.
