Re: Juicing apples with seeds...or not?
I've been juicing it all lately, (albeit organic), and then taking the pulp
and making crackers/softish breads. Ading a bit of flax, for binding, (like1/3 cup seeds) and sometimes mashed black-eyed peas--this is not strictly 'raw', yes, but it works for me...
I also add tamari, sometimes
and Super Tonic (google Schulze)
and nori. And blend it all up. Sometimes a bit of Blackstrap molasses also.
Cayenne...
It's all about getting a spicy, well-balanced mix, and then dehydrating it.
When eaten in combination with juice (*when you get hungry for "food")
esp. with a sunflower-seed based pate-
it's the perfect mix (match)
oh- and i've been eating the seeds all my life--without any problem) The secret is the "whole food"
Same with apricot (or plum or peach) seeds (aka "Leitrile". No problem, when you eat the whole food...)
Problems always comes when you "isolate" any substance, and eat a fragment of the whole, in some large amount.
