Cipro?

Hi, if you read my previous post then you know my whole story and I won't repeat it here.

In short, I have a pretty bad and long-term kidney infection and my doctor is saying that Cipro is the only thing that will cure it, and pretty much refusing to prescribe Amoxicillan or anything other than Cipro. I am scared to death of Cipro and don't want to take it. Is she right? Or should I go to another doctor? Don't know what to do!
