Yeah they told me they were shipping from Fla. The Green Star is in a whole different category and it costs almost twice as much as the O 8002. Still 10 years of regular use without mishaps and broke when I forced it to do a pretty heavy task with thick hard refrigerated coconut meat so it's still a pretty durn good run and more so when Omega is replacing the parts for free.
