Thanx to both of you - I'll do as you suggest and go for 45 mins cardio only and see how I go (don't want to get gym withdrawal symptoms as well as everything else.) I'll also re-post about the timings for the flush cos it can be a bit unpredictable - at least it was for me last time....
But cheers for your replies. I'm having a salt water flush - umm yum!! - as we speak and I haven't had any liquid for about 6 hours so I'll let you know the results. But I did have a late great brekkie this morning so maybe they won't count. Ah - my body my laboratory!
