Re: Blastocystis hominis and co-trimoxazole (Bactrim)

Kanchi,

Can you please tell me how much you are able to do for the day? are you in bed all the time or half the day;

How did you manage to get disability? Did the doctors finally recommend you for it? Was it a lot of work? I ask this again because I may have face this, like others. Does your husband work or he is also disable? Where do you live? do you have a support network, like your family? I think thinking about these questions also help to put a face to people who just sick; sickness prevent people from functioning. It tells the world why this is deadly disease. And stories like yours help us enormously. Help us prepare for what may come to us. Because I am really thinking about these questions.

I cannot believe that the dumb dr. wanted drill a hole in your head. Before I do that, I would kill myself. They just want to attack the symptoms; even after telling them that all the symptoms were brought about after the Blasto.

Also, my suggestion is that you not mix Bactrim with whatever medicine. Try taking what has been trialled by CDD. Not just any medications; you will be shooting in the dark otherwise.

I am going to take the triple therapy second line.
