Julia Chang of sensiblehealth has a good programme, I think, if one is SUITED TO HER HERBS. However, this is what got me going: she said that the chinese bitters must sometimes be reduced to as little as 1/8th of a teaspoon! I mean, really. It should be obvious that if you have to take so little, if any more makes you sick, it ain't right for you! Whether it's always the bupleurum or the combination of bupleurum + gentian is not for me to say, but I suspect it's the former. Chinese Gentian is a very, very "cold" herb and this too is not right for everyone.
