That would be my guess! Fruit does not feed candida....fats/processed foods/animal proteins do by supplying the perfect environment for candida to overgrow. By eating a natural diet and getting rid of the fats and animal proteins, we enable our bodies to naturally detox all the nastiness.

I have metals and a ton of gut infections. I am going to embark on this healing diet asap!
