Hello Ginagirl,

Your "Sarcasm off" comments raises a personal fascination:
How cultures "meet" on the net. Humour is a one example.

Some cultures "telegraph" their humour, others refuse, indeed doing so is seen as bad taste. Others happily blind to those nuances. I find "LOL" borders on offensive for almost the same reason that some use it. Yes, just me and my culture. And yes in the eyes of many "I" am wrong. Fascinating.

Ah yes Humour is spelt the "wrong" way: another example of cultural dictates.
