wild yam for shrinking fibroid?? but it's got phytoestrogens...confused about phytoestrogens!!

i am confused about phytoestrogens. I have a large fibroid and am starting attempt to shrink it. I have read a lot on this site and have decided to start with master cleanse, then do a greens/ juice fast whilst taking Lugols Iodine whilst also limiting my intake of phytoestrogens and xenoestrogens (use organic veg and fruit and avoiding parabens).
when i was at the shop i saw mexican wild yam cream nad remembered that it was good for shrinking fibroids... at least i tought i read that somewhere. On the label it says 'provides 20% wild yam extract supplying diosgenin and phytoestrogens, plud dong quai, agnus castus and black cohosh'
so the question is 'is this a good thing for me to use?' or should i be avoiding all phytoestrogen?

any thoughts welcome...
