Important Candida research

A research article was recently released in March 2012 from the University of Toronto which sheds some light on Candida growth.

It's long but here's a summary:

HSP90 protein helps Candida develop and become drug resistant. It helps Candida develop from a yeast to fungus and helps it evolve. When you inhibit HSP90, the Candida loses the ability to develop and weakens.
Basically, HSP90 helps Candida stay strong and Candida depends on it for its survival.
HSP90 disregulation also helps develop cancerous cells. There are HSP90 inhibitors which are used as a drug to treat cancer.

It's not a cure but it's good info. Diet and antifungals won't help if Candida keeps evolving.
