Scabs?

I think that many people on here might have a some sort of medical condition that is causing their lips to peel. However, I also believe that some of us may just have scabs on them. I think I have scabs on mine and they are just trying to heal back the layers that I took off but it really is taking a LONG time. I was just wondering if anyone that has scabs is healing or has healed or if anyone knows of anyone that has had scabs and healed because I'm considering going to the doctor sometime soon but I don't want to waste money on some cream that isn't going to work or for him just to tell me to let them heal naturally. -__-
