This issue was settled in the Congressional Record in 1929 and 1931. The accredited schools of Naturopathic MEDICINE is not NATUROPATHY as they are trying to convince the public, never was and NEVER WILL BE. Wholistic, complementary, alternative MEDICINE, maybe, but Naturopathic MEDICINE - nope... Dr Benedict Lust the founder of our association , which nearly lost it's tenure in the 1940's has held the position that you state. The case was won and carried on to 26!!! yes 26 states before the National/Basterydized NMD's caused the schism in the profession. The founder of the profession was given the commission to bring "Naturopathy" to the world and it was called the "Kneipp Water Cure " till the name was purchased by Dr Lust from Dr John Scheel and he stated that "Naturopathic MEDICINE" was a MISNOMER and the two words should NEVER be used together. The issue was settled in the District of Columbia and even clarified by the Congessional woman Langley and Theresa Schippell in the DC law . The AANP people keep saying that this law was promulgated JUST FOR DC and it's "Home Rule", but this is pure HOGWASH! The Congress and Senate and the signing of the President stated the 4 separate and distinct healing arts and they were delineated and the law upheld! This was resubstantiated in Wendel and his court case against the DC Commissioners. So nuff said the ANA- American Naturopathic Association- the ORIGINAL Naturopathic Association is alive and well and has been since it's inception. The position is NOT one to be argued, but will be soon substantiated again...as the ANA is launching their Washington State attack on the CNME, Bastyr and the like very, very, soon. They shall see the power of the Charter and all it's ramifications SOON. The Herbalist Charter, the Congressional Record and much much more data and EVIDENCE is soon to be exposed on these usurpers of REAL NATUROPATHY! The FDA personally stated to me that they had NO juridiction over Naturopathy- they don't regulate quackery is what they told me-they prosecute it...I told them to prosecute away ...never have and NEVER will. If they do they open up the can of worms you are speaking of in your article. Drs. Koch, Blass, Drosnes/Lazenby, and many others live on!!! If they persist we go underground and continue to practice, our finances are as unlimited as they come, so the BIG BOYS are just what they claim to be BULLIES.... we unite and use the tactics of divide and conquer like they have tried so many times on us....
The CHARTER/TREATY LAW SUPERCEDES ALL CONSTITUTIONAL PREMISES PERIOD! We won many years ago, the mold was set by the forefathers and that is it! Naturopathic MEDICINE- BS, they are accomplices and used in the division they so aptly deserve.! We will not bow nor will we burn!
