Ahhh, methylation. I'm *still* trying to get my head around that whole thing. For some reason I find it very complex. But yes, absolutely, I think the whole thing is tied in together. I think that's why I do really well taking SAM-e.

For me (and you as well most likely) if pyroluria is an issue high copper can be an issue as well. In fact, since I've started treating myself for the pyroluria I have noticed more "copper dumps" happening. They are totally linked, as zinc and B6 both displace copper, and if you're pyroluric those elements are in short supply. Redheads also have a higher tendency to have copper issues.

And interestingly, in relation to seasonal changes, I read somewhere that when you begin treating your high copper levels, your menstrual periods will begin aligning themselves more closely to the full moon. This is exaclty what's happening with me.

What has helped with my CFS? Well, some days I wonder if I shouldn't still be calling myself a Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome person, as I do still have problems with fatigue, etc. But hpefully treating the pyroluria will help with that. The most important thing for me has been getting my adrenal gland function right. Some say that every person with Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome has adrenal issues. I would tend to agree wiht that. I did really, really well taking withania as a tincture (wonderful stuff), and also a combination of herbs called Brahmi Tone but I still have a long way to go.
