yeah it sucks... but im gonna follow his advice... one other thing he told me was there are no magic creams, potions or lotions for this condition. the vaseline and the desonide are simply to avoid further trauma, form a protective barrier, and bring down inflammation which speeds healing despite the fact desonide is a steroid, which slows wound healing in theory, but overall it makes healing much faster because this is an inflammatory condition... so, it sucks that there is no quick fix, but i remain hopeful :p
