Skin as an excretory system, ways to help it
Nope, haven't had mine fall off.
If you have
Epsom Salts , try blending up 5 tablespoons hot water with 4-5 tablespoons
Epsom Salts . It creates a slightly syrupy magnesium 'oil'. You can then paint it on the sore for 1-2 minutes. It should soak very well into the skin.
Magnesium is a highly alkiline compound which is very antimicrobial, and the skin loves it. S'one of the reasons that sea water soaks do so well. Magnesium is also vital for intracellular health.
A scabbing and popping off of the scab makes me think of how the skin is an excretory system. It can expel unwanted materials- and often does when the lymph system and the liver cannot work to full potential. Is the scabbing and the falling off of the scab happening quickly? It may be an attempt of the skin to encapsulate a toxic substance in fresh cells and expel it.
Either way, there are several more steps you can do to nurture the skin there-
If you have a vitamin D3 supplement suspended in oil capsules at home, prick a hole with a needle in one of the capsules, and push the oil suspension out onto your sore and the surrounding skin, and then rub it in gently to absorb. Vitamin D3 lotions are a cure for
Psoriasis (when faithfully applied over 1-4 weeks). Vitamin D3 is involved in the healthy reproduction of all cells, but especially skincells- that is where D3 is produced after exposure to natural sunlight. It is a fat-soluable vitamin.
If you have non-chemically-treated calcium
Bentonite or other-bentonite cat litter, or diatomacious earth, or edible clay like 'aztec healing clay', you can blend a teaspoon of the material up with warm water (just a few drops) to form a paste, and then dab it on the sore to encourage toxins to rise to the surface and bind with the clay. Clays are very good binders, and also super-effective in calming skin complaints like acne, rashes, etc. This is also called making a poultice- you leave it on for 3-5 minutes, or as long as you like. Just keep it moist, or cover it with a band-aid, and then wash it off after 20 or so minutes. If the skin complaint is bacterial, a
Bentonite paste and magnesium oil application can certainly help. Bentonites/clays (diatomaceous earth is also a clay) tend to help even against unhealthy bacteria, because they have a molecular charge that attracts the foreign materials while in a water solution/suspension.
Just make sure it's a wooden spoon, stick, finger or plastic stirrer you use with bentonite/clays! It likes to bind with metals- very effective against
Amalgam issues. ;) If you can find non-chemically-treated (avoid anything listing 'anti-odor complex' or somesuch in their ingredients)
Bentonite catlitter, you can soak the clean, unused granules of the clay in a bowl or jar of water overnight, and it makes creating a paste much easier. I do this myself, and when I want a detox bath, I use a threadbare old pillowcase with about two cups of the clay inside, I tie it off, and then bathtubsoak.
And, last but not least, Oil! Olive oil, peanut oil, coconut oil, aloe, flaxseed oil- each is rich in skin-friendly nutrients which help speed the healing, especially tocopherols (vitamin E(s)) and cholesterols (omega fats). Rub gently.
If the skin problem is over the site of an old root canal, injury, scrape, or even a lymph node, and if you're doing stuff daily to detox, it's likely your skin is shoving out something unwanted. Abcesses/deep-seated
Acne is something I see here and there from the body cleaning up dental issues.
Take some encouragement, your skin is doing what it is made to do, to refuse what doesn't belong there!

I'm sorry, I don't know specifically what is likely to have caused that sort of sore specifically, but I hope that you will have help soon enough with tracking down the cause! It felt right though to share what I understand of the skin's processes.
