I am sorry to hear that you were involved in a spiritually abusive group in your childhood. Satan has crept into many churches. He uses men, so-called ministers and all to control, hurt and deceive. He twists truth. Yes, I believe with you that some of the supernatural manifestations going on in some churches are not from God at all, but from the occult. We need to seek God for discernment. Experiences from God bring true joy and peace, not torture. You have been very badly hurt. I pray the Lord heal you from these horrible wounds. I pray He shows you His truth which includes true healing, peace and joy unspeakable.
