I tried that without magnets, got complaints about it making their throats hurt betting magnets would solve that problem. JUST DO IT!!
Active magnets have proven their smoothness. Just zapping it with magnets then putting on the shelf in a regular bottle seem would be ineffective but I'm no Batman (Batman was also a scientist ya know)
