It would be a good idea if a doc could guide you in the beginning. For example, dr lam observed hundreds people with AF. If one had and advanced stage of AF, it would be a good idea to have a doc with established protocol. Not like my local naturopatic docs who say: try this. It's great stuff.
The SSRI are not good according to Dr Peat (raypeat.com). Actually, I had serum serotonin 2 times higher the upper normal level. Did it make me feel good? - Not at all!
To completely recover, it may take longer than 6 months. In just 3 months, if the program is correct, you will feel much-much better.
The problem is to find a protocol that works for you. As Lam said: all people are different.
