glue ear is often caused by a yeast infection in the ear canal. cod liver oil is a good remedy for this problem. you can either use a teaspoon of cod liver oil from the bottle or prick a 1000mg capsule on one end and express the oil directly into the ear canal. use cotton wool to plug the ear and retain the oil inside the ear canal. this method should be repeated daily for a week or so. you should see improvement within 24 hours.
