My experience with diet is that you body seems to change at times and you have to make an adjustment. For 2 years I did ok with following Andreas Moritz, almost being a vegetarian and eating grains, fruit. Then there were no improvements and checked out 15 different forums and it brought me to metabolic typing and that was my answer.
I try to stay away from grains and mainly I am on a low carb diet and I also do food combining.Fruit is not good for me, though I like it, because of my high tri-glycerides, this I learned on the cholesterol forum. Like GG I often attack 1 problem at a time. This winter my gallbladder itself was hurting when I pushed on it, in case it was inflamed I took for 4 weeks anti-inflammitary herbs. Had an US and it said my gallbladder was ok, though my stone was still there. Daily I take several supplements for different reasons. Of course
Iodine is one of them :)
