I just moved to California, and a much larger amount of the produce here is pretty local. Not all of it, but way more than in New England where I was living before... The fruits I eat are mostly bananas and citrus fruits (since they are low in fructose, which gives me bad symptoms). I will be more careful to eat local foods as much as possible from now on. I feel like that constellation of symptoms could be attributed to pretty much anything but there's no reason not to try local produce.
