i was diagnosed schizo-affective 20 years ago. got better by seeing different psychologists off and on for years. Eventually began to trust people again.

never got better by taking the drugs and i think i took most of them. when they put me on depakote i gained ~75 lbs in 6 months. when they took me off i lost it all back just as fast.

btw i found psychiatrists to be cold and cruel and psychologists to be just the opposite.
