Re: 30 water fast journal
This might not occur to a lot of people but it is HARD to let go of things when the moon is waxing, especially something as primal as food.
The moon was full on Saturday night. (so pretty much when you started) The best things to do near a full moon are to take in more of what is really good for you. There is also a bit of an opportunity to break out of the norm, like, in having chocolate which would normally be off limits, say, or something like that. One can go a little crazy at a full moon, and it takes less alcohol to get drunk. The brain holds more liquid when the moon is full.
It's a great time to take an
Epsom Salt bath, since the body absorbs more. Also, any illness is exacerbated.
Difficult time to get a
Water Fast underway, unless you are one of those unusual people who normally go slightly against what everyone else is doing, and are fine with that. Even so, it's much easier to work with the moon.
When it's waning or new, it's easier to let go, and when waxing, it's in sync to build up, like by taking tonics, herbs, starting better ways of eating, developing creative projects, etc.
You'll find it much easier the next time. Let the moon help you!
:-)
Also, taking it day by day. Not setting up a fixed idea, like 30 days. And preparing by reading some of the fasting masters. . .
