Parasitic and bacterial function in manipulation of brain and CNS function?

Does anybody have any information on the effects of parasites and bacteria on the Central Nervous System?

I am curious to note if there is any literature or personal stories regarding the manipulation of human organs, glands, and other body parts from parasites. Is it possible that these suckers can alter the production of what our bodies require [nutritional support] but in addition to brain functions that suit them?

I understand that parasites and bacteria have their own communication pathways through quorom communication, but I was curious to note if they are also able, once migrating to the brain, to take over production of CNS adrenal function and other areas to better suit themselves from immune system attacks.

Is this why they make us fatigued and all the other symptoms associated with infections?

Thanks
