I think the olive leaf extract is more the critical care herb, though--I've been led to Black Seed as a better long term preventive herb. :) But it's effect is a gradual accumulation not the immediate attack mode of Olive leaf.

And some herbs like goldenseal root, wear out after a while and lose their effectiveness, until you stop and let them resensitize. You wouldn't want that in a preventive herb--it stops protecting. I don't know if olive leaf wears out like that, but who wants to find out??
