Thanks, though it was brought to my attention that I have in fact posted on the forum before -ahem.

Yes my aged is a bit pongy, though it seems to dissipate. Don't have a bathtub, so just through over in the shower. Isn't it something to do with the ammonia content? Apparently having  a tight lid can give problems with this.

I too am inclined to use fresh urine in the eyes - but it is probably gonna worry me at first, even though it appears completely safe.
