Spots on Back Behind Liver - What does it mean ?

I wonder if anyone has any experience of this?

Last year for about 6 months a lot of spots (like zits) appeared on my back behind the liver. At the same time I had a dull ache in the liver.

My personal sins are cake and sugar, I don't drink or eat meat.

What could it be ?

Eventually in December I had a massive attack one night starting from the liver and where my stomach duodenum also got infected. That night I ate a big pot of ice cream and went to sleep soon after, in the middle of the night I had incredible pain followed by 2 months of recurring infections in the stomach and liver area.

Doctor was clueless, did an ultrasound for Gallstones found nothing.

I don't know what it is. Could it be liver diseas from all the cake ? Or Gallstones (I live in a very hard water area and have kidney stones) ? Could it be parasites ? Or all 3 ?

Any info would be appreciated ?
