10 years picking hair out... how to regrow ?

10 years ago my scalp began to have problems... not sure exactly what it was it was red, itchy, flakey with pus, and it came out of nowhere.

I was prescribed everything and nothing worked, i hated the feeling of these dirty flakes on my scalp so would pick them and with removing them came hairs... i did this for a long time it became OCD

in the past 3 months i have been pick free for the first time...

Apple Cider Vinegar cured it... i wash my hair and use it after i get out of the shower and it keeps my scalp moisturized and pimple/scab free.

but hair is not regrowing.

is there something i can use to encourage hair growth without returning my scalp to the horrible mess it was ?
