Re: Should you chelate if you have a disseminated parasite infection?

I was going to ask about this as well.

It sounds unfounded, but I think there is some good advice to at least be cautious about Cutler. I've been down that path, and also have parasites.

I seriously doubt ALA feeds parasites, maybe they are getting it confused with alpha linoleic acid?

Of the three chelators Cutler uses I think dmps is the safest, but in low doses. And you must absolutely be taking mineral supplements all the time and when you chelate.

Ultimately no chelation might be best, but who really knows for sure.

Personally I had good results with just plain old saunas going slow and steady. I regained pretty much all cognitive function, and half my endocrine system is back. Energy is coming back, but I'm not sure if a full recovery is possible.

I plan to go back to the Cutler program again in the future.

Mattk knows some good things about parasites, but I don't think he has a clue about heavy metals. You have to be real careful with anyone in the game of heavy metals, almost everyone is crazy!

When someone starts talking about using chlorella to 'chelate' heavy metals it should be a red flag that they are not realy educated on the subject. And not to say that Cutler has every answer in the book but at least you know that as a PH.D. in biochemistry he doesn't make outlandish claims. When he doesn't know something he pretty much says so.

Back years ago I was doing rounds of ALA alone, and it definitely was not good. DMPS helped some but I was so weak that I really couldn't tolerate any chelation. Just go very slowly and don't damage yourself.

Sorry I don't even know if I answered your question. I guess the best advice is just go real slow, try things out but always cautiously. I've been at this a very long time and really there is no one ever who has definitive answers.

Some people have good results using clay baths or taking clay internally. There's a hawaiin lady named luana something that helps people with heavy metals and clay.

There's also Dietrich Klinghardt who does parasites and heavy metals, but he's in germany and very expensive.
