Re: "If you mean so called Bates teachers..."
Hi Flipper
I have read Dr Bates' book called "Better Eyesight Without Glasses", an edition by a publisher called Thornsons "an imprint of Harraps-Collins Publishers" it says : but I read it 5 or 6 times maybe, or even more...Almost a Bible at the time.
I think I got the guideline okay, but I haven't read much more of those 3000 pages.
I had been interested too in what he might have written about cataract then, but didn't find much.
From what Bates says in his book, I was not likely to get results on my own, as my eyesight was too weak not to need someone familiar with his method's help...
And some issues are functional, other physiological, from his own sayings, and though he thought at the end of his life even the latter could be bettered too eventually, it is only pushing the limit a bit further on, - not deleting it...
Not sure that "the real cause is not in chemicals or proteins but in the higher principles that rule over them"...
Nicely said though, whatsoever...
What sort of results did you get from practicing his methods ? ( I never met anyone not involved in the "business" who had successfully practiced his work - little known in my country -, apart from one single person, very briefly...Doesn't help much.).
Cheers
