Re: Here's somebody : )
Regarding the review: some good information there, but one should keep in mind that it is the work of my friend Steve Barwick, who favors ionic silver over
Colloidal Silver (understandable, since he produces the good SilverEdge generators which produce mostly ionic silver). Ionic silver works just find for topical applications, but I far prefer true
Colloidal Silver for internal use. I am not sure what criteria he used to select his "preferred" brands, nor am I sure why the link to the
Utopia-Silver goes to the one gallon container. At any rate, imo none of those brands come even close to the
Utopia-Silver 's Advanced
Colloidal Silver (my personal favorite) or Purest Colloids Mesosilver.
My opinion of the Silvertron generator is that it uses some fancy touch screen controls and a lot of hype to charge a premium price, and, while it may be able to more precisely measure the PPM, it does NOT produce a solution that produces mostly true colloidal silver - and I note that the state that higher PPM colloidal silver can be produced by adding "certain food items available in most grocery stores". What they are likely referring to is some form of protein, which suspends the ionic particles so that they can call it "colloidal silver". It isn't. It is ionic silver suspended by protein - and that is not something I would recommend at all. A solution that is mostly true colloidal silver can NOT be produced with a 9 volt generator - it takes much, much higher voltage to produce mostly colloidal silver.
Organix Technologies is certainly right about it taking high voltage to produce mostly ultra-small colloidal silver nano-particles, which their chart lists as being 1 - 30 nm. The best true commercial colloidal silver products actually contain particles that are as small as 0.65 nm and which average far less than 30 nm. If you want to make mostly true colloidal silver using their generators, the high voltage units would be the ones to get - but they surely do make you jump through a lot of hoops to be able to purchase one. Perhaps they are concerned with safety issued due to the high voltage used.
The Big Bear unit advertised on eBay is a low voltage unit which makes clear ionic silver. If it produced mostly true colloidal silver, which it cannot do, the color would be tea colored, such as the colors of the Advanced Colloidal Silver and Mesosilver. I sincerely doubt their claims of producing 1 - 3 nm particles. Certainly not most of the particles will be in that size range.
Lastly, Goldengevity is a scam, as I have exposed multiple times here in this forum. It is all hype and false claims. There is no such thing as "atomic sized" particles in their product. When they first appeared on this forum, they claimed that their unique production method was revealed to them by aliens. Seriously! And they didn't even know the difference between particles and parts per million. Now I see that they have chosen a url name "purestcolloidal" which mimics purestcolloids, which does make actual colloidal silver. Ugh!
BTW, I usually get paid 20 cents a word to research and write an article. Who do I send my bill to? : )
