Strange that it's only 1 eye, and with the possibility of bursting perhaps it not just a cataract? This cataract forum has lots of interesting leads about vitamins and nutrition, but one I found interesting was castor oil drops in the eyes. Pharmaceutical grade hexane free organic castor oil is usually recommended in the youtube videos I have seen. Its all self experimentation since hard to find medical that will know about it, so good to investigate thoroughly.
