Re: Why Pray If God Knows Everything Any Way?
I believe all true believers are secure in their salvation. I am skeptical of someone being a true believer who remains in a church which teaches all kinds of heresies, new ageism, etc. along with all kinds of practices in witchcraft and demonic manifestations, while also promoting false prophets and apostles as well as the unification with the Catholic church, which teaches a different gospel. All of that and more describes the NAR in general, and certainly describes Rick Joyner's church. If someone is a true believer, I believe the Holy Spirit will lead him/her out of all that, like He did the woman I heard about recently who worked in a church which was modeled after Bill Johnson's NAR church in Redding, California. She was in charge of putting the "gold dust" aka "gold glitter" in the vent system so the people would believe God was manifesting himself through what they call the "glory cloud". She could no longer remain in those lies and deceptions and left. But sadly, her husband remained in it.
Like Costi Hinn says in this little short video, the greatest threat to the church is always "within". And the NAR is certainly a Trojan Horse of deception within the church, the Trojan Horse that most still don't have a clue about.
